5th Gear CX
CAL based Character Generator.
Create and Display Graphic Slides simultaneously with other CAL applications. While integrating the same composition and graphics management interface like 5th Gear NX, 5th Gear CX is able to display in a CAL-enabled system (DUET, DUET LE, DUET LEX, DUET PCI, DUET PCI+). Among other features, the ability to display pages while keeping on-screen animated elements (bugs, logos) makes 5th Gear CX a hybrid application: Character Generator and Logo Inserter. An internal Clip Player, based on Leitch/DPS Reality is available.

5th Gear for Digital CODI familly and 5th Gear AWD for Leitch/DPS Reality have merged into an unique character generator application: 5th Gear NX. Not only the new application can adapt to one or another hardware platform, but it can also benefit from both, where complex configuration with Digital CODI and Leitch/DPS Reality are available. 5th Gear NX is the logical evolution for the old generation character generators.
